Health in Ayurveda depends on the integrity of seven bodily constituents (Sapta dhatus). These constituents undergo daily wear and tear and therefore their replenishment and strengthening becomes imperative.

Pedi Act plays a vital role in repairing and building up the constituents. In this way, it revitalizes the metabolic tissues and promotes health.

Pedi Act is a comprehensive herbal formulation. Most of the ingredients have multiple actions.

Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha) and Tinospora cordifolia (Guduchi) are rejuvenators and Immuno- modulators that help in strengthening the tissues. Emblica officinalis (Amalaki) acts as antioxidant that prevents the free radical induced tissue damage. Moreover Emblica officinalis is rich in Vitamin C. In addition to these above Pedi Act contains Daucus carota (Carrot) and Spinacia oleracea (Spinach), which gives antioxidant activity due to carotenoids and flavonoids respectively.

Zingiber officinalis (Nagara), Tinospora cordifolia (Guduchi) and Piper longum (Pippali) and Piper nigrum (Miri) are carminatives and digestives for improving appetite and digestion.

Complementing these ingredients are Beta carota (Beetroot) and Mandur bhasma (Calx of iron), which provides haematinic property. With the help of carminatives and digestives, Pedi Act regulates digestion, assimilation and utilization of dietary intake. Pedi Act has honey, as its base which itself is a combination of various vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids. Although these constituents are present in small and varied amounts depending on the honey's floral source, they further enhance the nutrient intake.

Aqueous extracts derived from Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Pipli (Piper nigrum), Long pepper (Piper longum), Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Beet Root (Beta vulgaris), Spinach Extract (Spinacia oleracea), Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Carrot Extract (Daucus carota), Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris), honey, sugar syrup base.
